You can't keep a good woman down - nor can you keep her history a secret. Recognizing this to be not just an adage, Polk Community College has welcomed both students and the community at large every March for three years to celebrate Women's History Month.

I didn't realize just how much times have changed regarding women's history, women's health awareness and women's rights until last week, when I received a surprise package from Macy's department store by way of Fed-Ex.

Our church is liturgical. We follow the Book of Common Prayer for a variety of services for morning, evening, eucharist, marriage, births, confirmations, consecrations and burials. We have set services to fit a time of day as routine as the sunrise or as rare an occasion as the ordination of a bishop.
