Gladys V. Sims, age 86, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice House in Rockledge, due to Heart Failure.

Mavis M. Beamon, 75, of Winter Haven, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure. Born August 23, 1932, to Charlie M. and Era Campbell Miller in Lake Wales, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Lake Shipp Baptist Church in Winter Haven, where she had worked for the last 36 years as the church secretary. She also served at the church as the organist for a number of years.

Rita Mae Milburn, 79, of Winter Haven, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, of anemia, in Winter Haven.
