Jayne Hall, of Interior Expressions in Haines City, won first place for her transformation of Lucy's Room. The design includes displays of burgundy and gold fabrics, pillows, bows, cherished possessions and the creation of a satin holiday dress. She will be awarded the use of Pinewood Estate for an evening with up to 25 people. Second place was awarded to designer Heather Coscia, of The Wild Hare Interiors Reborn in Auburndale, and sponsor Alltel for the conversion of Mr. Buck's office. Santa and his elves were busy with last-minute details while surrounded by impish elves checking the lists of all who were naughty and nice. Coscia and Alltel earned four tickets with picnic dinners for the Concert Under the Stars, which will be held May 3. Designers Joan Whitehead, Susan Fenich, Carolyn Stockton and Wendy Venters, and sponsors Everett Whitehead & Son Construction, on behalf of Polk Education Foundation and Take Stock in Children, won third place for their living room display of trumpets heralding the holiday season with musical instruments and antique treasures. The winners will receive four tickets for the Concert Under the Stars. Nearly 7,500 visitors who toured the holiday home tour cast their votes to select the winning rooms. Appreciation is extended to all participating room design partners, including Flag World, Lake Wales; Biggar Antiques, Lake Alfred; Publix Super Markets Inc., Lakeland; DivaZigne, Winter Park; Kathryn's Design Studio & Furniture Gallery, Lake Wales; Couture Decor, Tampa; One of a Kind Gifts, Bartow; and Historic Bok Sanctuary's volunteers.
