Seminole won a pitchers' duel, 1-0, in the first game and the Vikings won game two 5-3 when it was called in the sixth inning due to rain. Samantha Boatner was the pitcher for PCC in the first game. In game two, Kristen LeFan pitched the Vikings to a victory with 14 strikeouts in six innings. She was also 2-for-3 with two RBIs at the plate in the game. Boatner was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Royals fall to JWU in five games LAKE WALES - The No. 9 Warner Southern College men's volleyball team lost to No. 7 Johnson and Wales University (Colo.) 3-2 (27-30, 30-28, 30-19, 27-30, 16-18) on Saturday.
State games signups ongoing TALLAHASSEE - Registration is available for four events at the Sunshine State Games, which will be held in Polk County. The sports shooting championships begin April 6 and most registration will be on-site. The games also feature a figure skating championsip May 16-18, in-line hockey June 13-15 and slow-pitch softball June 12-13.
