Florence Villa agency seeks director

WINTER HAVEN -- The Florence Villa Community Development Corp. has begun a search for an executive director, according to chairman of the board Marcela Stanislaus.

The agency has identified "a number of economic development opportunities," Stanislaus said, and is looking for a candidate "with that kind of background to help us."

The agency is searching for someone with at least five years administrative experience in economic or community development, Stanislaus said.

The agency specializes in job placement and training, housing and small business development. Polk County School Board member Brenda Reddout has been serving as interim executive director since September after the former director resigned.
